Recognition of Prior Learning

RPL is a process where students use their existing knowledge, skills and experiences (gained through life experiences and/or other employment) to demonstrate their competency in a particular unit. This allows you to gain qualifications without having to duplicate learning. Achieving competency in a unit is not guaranteed and it is the responsibility of the applicant to provide sufficient evidence to support their RPL application.

RPL may involve: Download
Recognition
of Prior
Learning
Handbook
Assessor observation
Competency conversation/assessment interview
Work samples or photos of work samples
References and support from supervisors or others
