Diploma of Children’s Services (Early childhood education and care)
A nationally accredited qualification for workers in children's services who are responsible for planning, implementing and managing programs in early childhood services, in accordance with licensing, accreditation and duty of care requirements. At this level workers have responsibility for supervision of other staff and volunteers.

Certificate III in Children's Services, HLTFA301C Apply first aid (Senior First Aid)
 
Qualification Requirements
To enrol, all applicants are required to: 
be over 18 years of age
complete the course Application Form, referring to the Terms and Conditions therein
pay the Application Fee
provide a Statement of Attainment for HLTFA301C Apply first aid (Senior First Aid) 
provide a Working With Children Check (Blue Card in Queensland)
comply with any course prerequisites
 
Qualification Award
The Diploma of Children's Services (Early childhood education and care) is awarded to students who achieve Competency in the 18 units of the course. In addition, students must complete and be assessed for 180 hours of vocational placement.
 
Qualification Units
18 units are required for award of this qualification.
 
Required Reading
Students will be provided with workbooks for each of the units.
